I totally loved this book and if you are a fan of contemporary YA, this is a must read (after you read If I Stay, of course). So I finished If I Stay and I had Where She Went literally sitting right next to me in anticipation of needing the next book immediately. I was surprised that the author took such a different take to writing this book as opposed to the first novel, If I Stay. MODERATOR: She went there, Governor Sanford. Neiers went with the smart play when first questioned by the cops, saying that she was drunk when they robbed Bloom's house (and thus had no idea what they were doing) and that she had no stolen goods at her home. It hasn't been easy though; our four-legged, tail-wagging child is quite the handful. She went through two obedience trainers just to learn how to walk on a leash.
